Oyelaran wrote most of Corrosion Songs in the back of a touring van that broke down twice in the same week. The record was recorded in four days flat, mostly first or second takes, and it shows — this is the loosest, angriest thing they’ve put out on the label.
“We didn’t have the budget or the patience to make it sound clean,” the band said. “So we didn’t.”
