Interior Weather started as a set of processed field recordings — HVAC hum, elevator motors, the particular hiss of an empty office at night — before Dust Chapel ran them through a modular rig and rebuilt them into six tracks that barely resemble their source material.
We mastered this one twice: once for the digital release, once specifically for the vinyl cut, which runs about a decibel hotter in the low end than the streaming master. If you only know this record from a playlist, the record sounds different — that was the point of pressing it at all.
Limited first pressing of 500 on smoke-gray vinyl. Represses will be black.
